MEET CHAD
When God calls a Young Life leader to tell teenagers about the love of Christ, they go! That is exactly what happened when Chad Rizenbergs moved back to Texas in the Fall of 2020 and considered becoming a Young Life leader to teenagers in Grapevine/Colleyville.
When Chad said yes to becoming a volunteer leader, no one could predict just how fruitful the next four years would be. Chad was faithful to show up, to meet kids where they were, and to pray. Chad began meeting kids from both Grapevine High School and Colleyville Heritage High School almost immediately. It didn’t take long before Chad was rallying his guys to get to Young Life club on Monday, grab a meal together or sign up for summer camp. It didn’t take long for Chad to begin sharing the Good News of Jesus and for life change to begin.
Chad’s faithful presence in the life of his high school friends created a place for kids to be known, ask questions and discover the Truth about Jesus for themselves.

IT MATTERS
We believe that if kids knew the Truth about Jesus and the abundant life waiting for them in Christ, they would find Jesus hard to resist. We believe the news about Christ comes best from a trusted friend and leader.
Young Life doesn’t start with a program. It starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building brides of authentic friendship. These relationships don’t happen overnight - they take time, patience, trust and consistency.
As we celebrate 15 years of Grapevine/Colleyville Young Life we praise God for the faithful volunteer leaders over the many years that have shown up for kids.
